Job Description: You will lead nominated colleagues & manage the consistant application of processes within a given area, to ensure products are packed/manufactured to agreed standards & to keep production lines running without downtime. Your Key Accountabilities 1. Deliver area productivity & effciency targets,
resolving problems & issues as they arise,
ensuring no downtime to production keeping
them as close to production plan as possible.
2. Continuosly monitor all operational processes
& the overall production enviroment to ensure
that activity comply with food safety manufacturing
Standards.
3. Monitor the effectiveness of machinery & equipment
through Pre starts & Observations, highlighting trends
& issues to ensure asset performance is consist &
reliable.
4. Promote a good health, safety & enviromental culture
within the department, that complies with procedures,
accident investigation, corrective actions & completes
near miss reporting, Behavioural Observations, to
promote a safe working environment.
5. Review operational trends within area to identify &
act on opportunities that make sustainable
improvements to increase quality, performance
and/or profit in support of the shift operational plan.
6. Monitor & review team capability, ensuring all staff
are clearly focused on their key objectives & developed
to maximise their potential.
