As a Customer Assistant at Lidl, no shift is the same and you get out what you put in. Starting at 5am some days to set up the store bakery for the day or finishing at 11pm on others to close the store and ensure the store is ready for another day of customers, you'll keep moving and keep business booming. Every day is different, so you won't just be working deliveries or working on the till; you'll be doing all of it and more. You could even train to be a freshness specialist, non-food specialist or a bakery specialist. It's your hard graft that puts food onto dinner tables and keeps our customers coming back.

Our Customer Assistants work together as a team to ensure their store is clean, tidy and well-ordered so that customers can get the products they love and need. You'll be part of a close-knit team who will soon become friends. Shifts include the weekends, but whether you have family commitments, are studying or have an extraordinary hobby, we make sure our rotas are available 3 weeks in advance so you can get the most out of your days off. Sourcing all ingredients from our on-site warehouse and engaging with our friendly team members on a daily basis, you will find this role both challenging and rewarding!

What you'll do

•Preparing and cooking breakfast and lunch for approx 100 people per meal slot, ensuring enough food is prepared for everyone
•Assisting with planning and organising meal schedules and menu changes, with consideration for dietary requirements
•Managing food stock levels, while minimising waste
•Sourcing all meal ingredients from our onsite warehouse
•Maintaining food hygiene standards throughout the preparation process

Our UK Business unit has six manufacturing plants providing a great place to work for 1500 employees producing private label soft drinks and fruit juices for all the leading retailers including Tesco, ASDA, Morrison's, Sainsburys, ALDI and Lidl. We also manufacture for branded customers such as Innocent, Ocean Spray, Weetabix, Del Monte and Um Bongo. Whether it's packed in Cartons, PET, Aseptic PET or Cans, we ensure that our products are not only manufactured to the highest quality standards but they get where they need to be when they need to get there to meet the needs of our high profile customers.

We are looking for a Site Implementation Manager to join the Quality Team at our Bondgate site in West Yorkshire.
(We are currently recruiting for two Site Implementation Manager roles - one permanent vacancy and one fixed term vacancy for 9-12 months. Please ensure you apply for the relevant role!)
The successful candidates will work as part of our site Quality team to manage and facilitate the launch of new products in addition to ensuring that packaging and process changes are implemented in line with customer and industry standards.
The role includes but is not limited to:
* Facilitate and manage the transfer of NPD and new co-pack products/Packaging into manufacturing and co-ordinate new product launches ensuring all launches meet food safety, legal and customer requirements.
* Implementation of process and packaging changes, ensure that all changes to processes are evaluated, risk assessed and documented.
* Completion of all product, process and packaging trails required are to a satisfactory standard with clear objectives and measurable success criteria, ensuring the operations team are engaged.
* Verification of new equipment, packaging or process, ensure that internal and external customer expectations are reviewed and where considered valid are built into Refresco protocols
* New Process Risk Assessments, ensure any changes have been risk assessed and Refresco operating instructions updated taking into account the changes
* HACCP for new process, equipment and packaging, ensure any new processes  have a validated HACCP in place
* Facilitate and manage the implementation of value engineering projects in to manufacturing
* Ensure existing equipment and process are re-validated in accordance with Refresco and customer standards.
* Facilitate the operations teams to ensure new and existing products / packaging formats can run efficiently meeting customer expectations for service level.
* Review of current processes and practice to drive continual quality improvement.

About You
You will be an experienced Site Implementation Manager with a passion for food and drink and improving quality systems. You will have demonstrable operational experience gained within a fast moving consumer goods environment, ideally within the drinks industry. A degree in a Science or Food Technology or experience in an influential Quality or Technical role will also be required.
Salary & Benefits
The salary for this role is dependent on experience. We also offer an annual bonus incentive and a good company pension scheme, 2 x basic salary life assurance plus 25 days holiday in addition to bank holidays (with the option to purchase additional holidays). Working hours are Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5.00pm, Fridays 8.30am to 4.00pm
