Riverway Foods was a family owned business based in Harlow, Essex until becoming part of the CPC Group. We produce some of the best sausages around and supply in to some of the major retailers including Aldi, Lidl and Tesco. The role will be a very busy one and will require somebody with flexibility as the working hours and shift work.(Both being company requirement needs).

* The role of the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer is primarily to support the running of the factory by resolving breakdowns and by delivering planned maintenance.

* Secondly they are also required to drive improvement across the site in terms of new machinery, hygiene, quality, and performance.

* Responsible for reactive and proactive maintenance work, whilst making sure it is carried out to the highest possible standards across the whole of the site.

* Expected to carry out all maintenance across the factory

The only electrical onsite support is the Maintenance Manager out of a team of five so it's imperative that you have an electrical bias. You will be able to identify PLC's, circuit boards, contractors competent in re-wiring. In addition you will be familiar with Mechanical Engineering in Food preparation/Food Services and the scale of some of the break downs/repairs.

Knowledge & Experience

· At least five years’ experience of engineering within a FMCG, food production
· Continuous improvement experience, tools and techniques.
· TPM methodology awareness.
· Safe systems of working,

· GMP

Responsible for keeping our hard-working teams fed and watered, our efficient and highly motivated catering team provide breakfast and lunch for the entire warehouse. Now we are looking for an experienced Chef to prepare and cook healthy, balanced meals. With the added task of managing stock levels, menus and preparation schedules, you will find this role both challenging and rewarding!

What you'll do

•Preparing and cooking breakfast and lunch for up to 100 people per meal slot, ensuring enough food is prepared for everyone
•Planning and organising meal schedules and menu changes, with consideration for dietary requirements
•Managing food stock levels, while minimising waste
•Sourcing all meal ingredients from our onsite warehouse
•Maintaining food hygiene standards throughout the preparation process
•Reporting any health & safety issues
What you'll need

•Proven experience working as a chef within a commercial kitchen (e.g. a pub, school or similar warehouse canteen) is essential
•Proven experience managing stock levels, menu plans and preparation schedules is essential
•Level 3 Certificate in Supervising Food Safety in Catering is essential for this role.
•Flexible with working shifts, including weekends
•Extremely well organised with excellent multitasking skills and ability to work well under pressure
•Excellent time management skills and experience working with rotas
•A confident clear communicator with a good standard of written English
•Proactive and able to highlight problems/issues in a timely manner

The role will be a very busy one and will require somebody who will roll their sleeves up and get stuck in as they have so much to do

The opportunity that I am recruiting in to is a 3rd party logistics co-ordinator/analyst role. It is imperative that we find a candidate that excels in a busy and pressurised environment, pays particular attention to detail - a major part of the role is reporting so a keen eye for detail and the confidence to query things at the right level is a must have. You must also be naturally tenacious and not prepared to accept the first answer that you receive if you have the need to query things.

65% of your time will be working with 3rd party logistics suppliers, using the CML system to monitor stock handling, noticing if things have been booked in incorrectly and rectifying the issue, monitoring rejections from depots (Retail customer sites), stock management, booking in pallets. In Q2 next year we will be moving to a new reporting system so knowledge of Steven Scales or similar reporting systems would be advantageous.

The other 35% of your time will be spent on data analysis, pulling data out of the factory in Excel and compiling reports that will be shared between the Factory Manager, Operations Director, Management Accountant and shared with the Group Finance Director. Because you will be reporting in Excel then we are looking for advanced excel skills including V Lookups, Pivot Tables, Graphs etc. You will also be used to presenting data in clear and concise ways and tracking trends etc.

* Ability to demonstrate Flexible respnse to role reposibilities

* Ability to work under pressure with accuracy and attention to detail

* confidence to work without supervision and using your own initiative

* Excellent communication skills and be able to put across a good business case achieving buy in from others
